AI assistant for plumbers: requests, estimates and messaging between call-outs

The hands-on work is yours. The assistant takes requests and clarifies what happened, calculates the estimate from your price list, keeps the call-out schedule and reminds clients and you.

AI assistant for a plumber: job requests, estimates and materials tracking
While you are on site, requests and estimates can be prepared without you.

What it does

What it does not do

The limits are set in advance

How much time it frees up

By our reviews, a plumber spends roughly 9 hours a week on the routine listed above — more than a third of the working week. The assistant does not take all of it: some tasks you will still be checking. But checking something finished is faster than doing it from scratch, and the gain lies in exactly that difference.

How it works

The assistant lives on your phone and works by voice or short messages — there are no complicated programs to log into. It counts, records and reminds while you get on with the job you were called in for.

How the assistant covers everything except the work itself

A request with a clear description of the problem

"Leaking under the sink" — what exactly is leaking, which sink, is there access? The assistant asks the questions from your list, requests a photo, determines urgency by your rules and offers a call-out time. You arrive with the right parts, not on a reconnaissance trip.

An estimate before the call-out

From the description and photo the assistant calculates a preliminary estimate from your price list: labour, standard materials, call-out fee. The client sees the ballpark before you have spent an hour on the road. The final price you give on site.

A call-out schedule by area

The assistant arranges the week's requests by day and area so you don't cross the city twice. Clients get a confirmation and a reminder the day before; you get the day's list with addresses, phone numbers and problem descriptions.

Materials for the call-out

For tomorrow's requests the assistant compiles a list of what to take and what to buy, from your reference of standard jobs. Fewer second trips "for a part".

Acts, payment and repeat clients

After the job — an act from the template and a payment reminder if it wasn't paid on the spot. Six months later — a maintenance reminder for those with filters or a boiler, in your wording.

What the dialogue looks like

Client: Hello! We have a leak under the kitchen sink, it drips constantly, we've put a basin under it.

Assistant: Hello! Could you tell me where exactly it is dripping from — the trap under the sink, the hose connection or from under the tap? If possible, send a photo. And is today after 17:00 convenient, or is tomorrow morning better?

Client: Looks like the trap, photo sent. Today after 17.

Assistant: Thank you, I see it. Preliminary: replacing the trap including labour — from [amount], call-out included; the plumber will give the exact price on site. Booked for today 17:30–18:30, the plumber will confirm an hour before.

What we need from you at the start

Implementation timeline

The review is one conversation. Setting up the price list and requests takes two to three days. In the first week the assistant takes requests under your supervision — you see every conversation. From the second week it runs them itself and you get a ready list of the day's call-outs.

Frequently asked questions

Won't it quote a price I wouldn't work for?
The estimate is calculated from your price list and always marked "preliminary". The assistant never offers anything below your minimum call-out amount.
Clients call.
A missed call gets a message asking to describe the problem and send a photo. Most people write, and you only have to call back those who didn't.
I work in a crew.
The assistant distributes requests among the tradesmen and areas, each getting their own list for the day. It can be set up for a crew.
Emergency calls at night?
The assistant takes a request even at three in the morning, assesses urgency by your rules and wakes you only when you have allowed it.
